Gift Establishes Ben Parrish Fund

The family of Bernard G. “Ben” Parrish, (Class of 1950), has given Highland Academy a gift of $25,000 to establish the Ben Parrish Fund to benefit the music department.

“In looking at how we might best honor Ben, and what mattered most to him,” says his wife, Merle Parrish, (Class of 1950), “we could not select a better investment than Highland Academy, and its music program. The major purpose for the Fund is to inspire future generations to use their talents in honoring Christ, as Ben did.”

We hope the Ben Parrish Fund will grow through the years to have an ever-greater impact on Highland’s music program, the lives it touches, and the people it inspires. Additional gifts are encouraged, and may be made – either specifically designated for the Ben Parrish Fund, or to HA in general – in memory of Ben Parrish.
