Highland Academy is having a clinic January 29-31 featuring the Southern Adventist University Gym-Masters as clinicians.  There will be learning stations that focus on acrosports, tossing, pyramids, tumbling, three highs and other activities to build your skills. Saturday night will be a program that will give everyone a chance to perform, with the Gym Masters as the main feature. Our theme this year comes from 1 John 2:17 (NIV) “The world and its desires pass away, but whoever does the will of God lives forever.” Where’s your FOCUS?

We will start registration on Thursday at 6:30pm-7:30pm in the gym lobby. The first section of the clinic will start at 7:30pm and go to 9:50pm.  Friday will be a full day of learning, ending with vespers.  Sabbath will be a fun day with our own Sabbath School, Church Service, and religious activities in the afternoon. The Acrofest Show will end the clinic that evening. The program will start at 7:00pm.

Each participant will receive a T-shirt, 6 meals, and housing for $40.  Sponsors are required and are free of charge. (limit two sponsors per group) We would like to have everyone pre-registered by calling Highland Academy (615-325-2036) with the number of students and sponsors by Jan. 15 at the latest. Bring your money and paperwork to registration Jan. 29 at 6:30pm. ALL PARTICIPANTS MUST HAVE THEIR PARENTS SIGN THE ACCOMPANYING REGISTRATION/CONSENT FORM OR THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO TAKE PART IN THE CLINIC.  ENCLOSED IS A COPY OF THE REGISTRATION/CONSENT FORMS.   PLEASE MAKE AS MANY COPIES AS NECESSARY FOR EACH PERSON WHO WANTS TO ATTEND.

This will be an event that you will not want to miss.  I encourage you to come even if you have not had a lot of training, but interested in learning.  We will teach to the different levels of talent, so don’t count yourself out if you don’t have much experience. You will still have a good time.  WE ARE LIMITING THE CLINIC TO GRADE 5 AND ABOVE, SO PLEASE KEEP THIS IN MIND FOR ALL THAT WANT TO COME.
